On October 10, 2017 Oelwein Officers arrested Thomas Wayne Darland, age 45 of Oelwein on a charge of Possession of Marijuana-2nd or subsequent offense, an Aggravated Misdemeanor.  This arrest was made in the 700 block of 3rd St SE.

On October 9, 2017 at 6:30 p.m., Oelwein Officers arrested Latosha Ann Tucker, age 36 of Oelwein, on two Fayette County Sheriff's Office warrants for Violation of Compulsory Education Mediation Agreement.

On October 3, 2017 at 6:46 p.m., Oelwein Police arrested Aaron Paul James, 38, of Oelwein.  James was arrested on a Buchanan County Warrant for Making False Reports.  This arrest followed an officer’s interaction in the 10 block 9^th av se.

On October 3, 2017 at 8:21 p.m., Oelwein Police arrested Cory Arden Hursey, 31, of Oelwein.  James was arrested on a Fayette County Warrant for Residency Violation.  This arrest followed an officer’s interaction in the 10 block 8^th st sw.

On October 2, 2017 at 4:20 p.m. Oelwein Officers responded to a report of an assault in the 400 block of 1st Avenue SE.  Officers arrested Charlotte Estelle Scott, age 31 of Oelwein on a charge of Assault Causing Injury, a Serious Misdemeanor.

On October 2, 2017 Oelwein Officers arrested Erika Ann Sheffert, age 28 of Oelwein, on a charge of Criminal Mischief 4th Degree, a Serious Misdemeanor.  This charge stems from response to a disturbance call in the 600 block of 6th Street NE at 2:40 a.m. on October 1, 2017.

On September 28, 2017 at 11:50 p.m., Oelwein Police arrested David Lee Allen Nuehring, 51, of Oelwein.  Nuehring was arrested and charged with Domestic Abuse Assault-Simple Misdemeanor and Violation of a No Contact Order- Simple Misdemeanor.  This arrest followed an incident in the 400 block of 1^st st NE
