At 1:02 p.m., on December 7, 2017 Oelwein Police arrested Michael Melvern Miller, 42, Of Oelwein. Miller was arrested on a Fayette County Warrant on an original charge of Assault with a Deadly Weapon. This arrest followed an officer’s interaction with the subject in 1500 block of South Frederick
On December 4th, 2017 at 9:45 a.m., in the 1500 block of South Frederick, Oelwein Officers arrested David Michael Heidt, age 46 of Oelwein, on three Black Hawk County warrants for Probation Violation.
Ethan Wade Dowd, age 27 of Oelwein was arrested at the Oelwein Police Department where he had presented himself for a Fayette County Warrant, original charge of Assault, Simple Misdemeanor.

On December 2 at 8:19 p.m., Oelwein Police arrested Jacob Edmund Strempke, 25, of Oelwein. Strempke was charged with Assault causing serious injury- class D felony. This arrest followed an earlier incident in the 100 block of South Frederick.
On November 30, 2017 at 12:45 a.m., Oelwein Police arrested Luis Alberto Pineda, 34, of Oelwein. Pineda was arrested on a Fayette County Warrant for Probation Violation on an original charge of Driving while Barred. This arrest came after an officer’s interaction with the subject at the Oelwein Police Department.
On November 27, 2017 at 6:15 p.m., Oelwein Police were called to the 100 block of 1st Avenue NW for a reported disturbance. Officers arrested Nathan Michael Williams, age 29, of Oelwein on a charge of Domestic Assault, Simple Misdemeanor.

On November 20, 2017 at 8:40 p.m., Oelwein Officers investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 800 block of 2nd Avenue SE in Oelwein. Officers did locate the vehicle and arrested Frank Lee Miller, age 55 of Waterloo, on a charge of Driving While License Barred, and Aggravated Misdemeanor.

On November 17, 2017 at 11:05 p.m. Oelwein Officers responded to a report of an assault in the 100 block of South Frederick. Officers arrested Nathaniel Jeffery Rohrick, age 25 of Oelwein on charges of Public Intoxication 2nd Offense and Assault Causing Injury, both Serious Misdemeanors.
