At 1:26 pm on September 13, 2023 Oelwein Police arrested Chris Edward Westendorf, 57, of Oelwein. Westendorf was arrested on a Fayette County warrant for an original charge of Violation of Probation in the 1000 block of S Frederick Ave
At 11:25 pm on September 11, 2023 Oelwein Police arrested Alexis Troi Rinella, 30, of Oelwein. Rinella was arrested on a Fayette County warrant for an original charge of Probation Violation in the 100 block of South Frederick Ave.
At 12:39 pm on September 6, 2023 Oelwein Police arrested a 12-year-old male juvenile. This juvenile was arrested on a charge of Minor in Possession of Tobacco/Vape Products. This arrest was made following a citizen's report of a minor in possession of tobacco in the 300 block of 12th Ave SE.
At 10:45 pm on September 7, 2023 Oelwein Police arrested Jason Lynn Burkey, 35, of Oelwein. Burkey was arrested on a charge of Driving While License Suspended. This arrest was made following a traffic stop in the 100 block of E Charles St.
At 1:38 am on September 8, 2023 Oelwein Police arrested Ray Devon Watkins Jr., 28, of Oelwein. Watkins was arrested on charges of Domestic Abuse Assault, 3rd/Subsequent Offense - Class D Felony and Possession of a Controlled Substance - Serious Misdemeanor. This arrest was made following a report of a disturbance in the 100 block of 8th Ave NW.
On 09-05-23 at approximately 4:30 pm, Oelwein Police were called to the 700 block of 1st Ave. SW for a report of a domestic disturbance. Hallie Jo Brown, 31 of Oelwein, was ultimately arrested and charged with DOMESTIC ABUSE ASSAULT. This violation is a serious misdemeanor. Brown was transported to the Fayette County Jail awaiting an initial appearance.
At 10:54 am on September 4th, 2023 Oelwein Police arrested Braxton May, 18, of Oelwein. May was arrested on multiple Buchanan County warrants for original charges of Theft 5th Degree - Serious Misdemeanor and Possession of Alcohol by Person under 21. This arrest occurred in the 10 block of West Charles St.
At 12:42 am on September 3, 2023 Oelwein Police arrested James Dillian Owens, 27, of Oelwein. Owens was arrested on charges of Domestic Assault of a Pregnant Person – Class D Felony and Child Endangerment – Aggravated Misdemeanor. This arrest was made following a report of a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of 1st Ave NE.
At 5:27 am on September 3, 2023 Oelwein Police arrested Eric Jerome Dokkebaken, 57, of Oelwein. Dokkebaken was arrested on a charge of Domestic Abuse Assault 2nd Offense – Aggravated Misdemeanor. This arrest was made following a report of a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of 6th Ave SE
At 1:15 pm on September 3, 2023 Oelwein Police arrested a 16-year-old male juvenile and a 17-year-old male juvenile. Both juveniles were charged with Unlawful Assembly – Aggravated Misdemeanor. These arrests were made after a disturbance was reported in the 900 block of 2nd Ave NE.
At 12:41 am on September 4, 2023 Oelwein Police arrested Jayden Michael Heidt, 21, of Oelwein. Heidt was arrested on multiple Fayette County warrants for original charges of Unlawful Assembly – Aggravated Misdemeanor and Disorderly Conduct and Violation of No Contact Order – Simple Misdemeanor. This arrest occurred in the 100 block of 1st Ave NE.
At 1:25 pm on September 2, 2023 Oelwein Police arrested Jacob John Thomas Mundt, 33, of Dawson. Mundt was arrested on a charge of Domestic Assault Impeding Air or Blood Flow - Aggravated Misdemeanor. This arrest was made following a report of a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of 1st St NW.
On August 31, 2023 at 12:15 p.m., Oelwein Officers arrested Jared Michael Richardson, aged 29 of Oelwein for a Violation of Probation Warrant, original charge Criminal Mischief 4th Degree.
At 12:16 am on September 1, 2023 Oelwein Police arrested Lenore Kimberly Carrillo, 52, of Oelwein. Carrillo was arrested on a Fayette County Warrant for original charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Offense - Class D Felony and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Simple Misdemeanor. This arrest occurred in the 10 block of 6th Ave NE.
At 10:36 am on August, 30, 2023 Oelwein Police Arrested Daniel Ellis Godbold Jr., 23, of Oelwein. Godbold was arrested on a charge of Driving While License Suspended. This arrest was made following a traffic stop in the 1 block of 1st St SE.
At 7:00 pm on Aug 30, 2023 Oelwein Police arrested a 16-year-old male juvenile, a 17-year-old male juvenile, and a 12-year-old female juvenile. Each juvenile was charged with Unlawful Assembly – Aggravated Misdemeanor. These arrests were made following an investigation of the incident originally reported to police at 9:36 pm on August 28, 2023. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
At 9:36 pm on August 28, 2023 Oelwein Police arrested Rory Saben May, 19, of Winthrop; Daniel Ellis Godbold Jr, 23, of Oelwein; Alexis Jorden Louise Heidt, 24, of Oelwein; and a 15-year-old male juvenile.
May was arrested on charges of Assault with Intent to Inflict Serious Injury – Aggravated Misdemeanor, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree – Aggravated Misdemeanor, Unlawful Assembly – Aggravated Misdemeanor, Assault Causing Bodily Injury or Mental Illness – Serious Misdemeanor, Disorderly Conduct (Fighting/Violent Behavior) – Simple Misdemeanor, and Interference with Official Acts – Simple Misdemeanor.
Godbold was arrested on charges of Unlawful Assembly – Aggravated Misdemeanor, Disorderly Conduct (Fighting/Violent Behavior) – Simple Misdemeanor, and Contempt – Violation of No Contact/Protective Order.
Heidt was arrested on charges of Unlawful Assembly – Aggravated Misdemeanor and Disorderly Conduct (Fighting/Violent Behavior) – Simple Misdemeanor.
The juvenile was arrested on charges of Unlawful Assembly – Aggravated Misdemeanor and Disorderly Conduct (Fighting/Violent Behavior) – Simple Misdemeanor
These arrests were made following a 911 call reporting an individual trying to stab people with a knife in the 20 block of West Charles St. This matter is still under investigation, additional charges and arrests are pending.
At 3:16 pm on August 29, 2023 Oelwein Police arrested Joseph Glenn Kane, 24, of Maynard. Kane was arrested on a charge of Driving While License Suspended. This arrest was made following a traffic stop in the 100 block of 4th St NW.
