February2, 2021

On February 2, 2020 at 8:48 A.M., Oelwein Officers were called to the 400 block 13th AV NW for a report of a Burglary.  This incident remains under investigation.

 

On February 2, 2020 at 12:16 P.M., Oelwein Officers were called to the 200 block 12th AV SE for a report of a Theft.  This incident remains under investigation.

 

On February 3, 2021 at 2:29 P.M., Oelwein Police arrested Ryan William Eickhoff, 33 of Oelwein.  Eickhoff was arrested and charged Ongoing Criminal Conduct- Class B Felony, Driving While License Suspended- Simple Misdemeanor and Interference with Official Acts- Simple Misdemeanor.  This arrest followed an incident in the 700 block 1st AV SE

 

On February 2, 2020 at 9:51 P.M., Oelwein Officers were called to the 400 block Great Western Av for a report of Criminal Mischief.  This incident remains under investigation.

January 30, 2021

On January 30, 2020 at 0728 A.M., Oelwein Officers were called to the 700 block 3rd AV SW for a report of a Criminal Mischief.  This incident remains under investigation

January 29, 2021

On January 29, 2021 at 4:54 p.m., Oelwein Police responded to the 200 block of 2nd Avenue SE for a male reported to violating a no contact order.  Officers arrested Atonio James Cleveland Oaks, age 29 of Oelwein on a charge of Violation of No contact order- Simple Misdemeanor.

January 28, 2021

Oelwein police investigated a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of HWY 150 and 20th ST SE at 10:02 A.M., on January 28, 2021. A Black 2013 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Brennan Cole collided with a White 2018 Ford Explorer driven by Sherilyn Snitker. 

January 27,2021

On January 27, 2021 at 10:10 a.m., Oelwein Police responded to the 200 block of 2nd Avenue SE for a male reported to be causing a disturbance.  Officers arrested Atonio James Cleveland Oaks, age 29 of Oelwein on charges of Trespass, Disorderly Conduct, and Domestic Assault.  All charges are Simple Misdemeanors.

 

 

January 25.2021

On January 25, 2020 at 0703 A.M., Oelwein Officers were called to the 10 block Maplewood Dr for a report of a Criminal Mischief.  This incident remains under investigation

January 24, 2021

On January 24, 2020 at 1:04 P.M., Oelwein Officers were called to the 500 block of 1st ST SE for a report of a Theft.  This incident remains under investigation

Oelwein police investigated a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of 2nd ST and 3rd AV NW at 3:44 P.M., on January 24, 2021. A Gold 2004 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Larry Robinson collided with a Red 2009 Chevrolet Equinox driven by David Byrd. 

January 23, 2021

On January 23, 2021 at 5:25 P.M Oelwein Police assisted Fayette County Sheriff’s office with a one vehicle rollover in the 1000 block of Neon Road.  Mercy Oelwein Ambulance also assisted on this call

On January 23, 2021 at 6:29 P.M., Oelwein Police arrested Elexander Charles Warren Wolf, 25 of Oelwein.  Wolf was arrested and charged with Violation of No Contact order.  This arrest followed an incident in the 400 block E Charles.

 

January 20, 2021

On January 20, 2020 at 9:11 P.M., Oelwein Officers were called to the 900 block of South Frederick for a report of a Burglary.  This incident remains under investigation

January 18,2021

On January 18, 2021 at 6:00 a.m., Oelwein Officers took a report of domestic assault, occurring in the 400 block of East Charles.  Elexander Charles Warren Wolf, age 25 of Oelwein, was arrested and charged with Domestic Abuse Assault, Aggravated Misdemeanor.

 

Oelwein Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at 1st Av and 3rd St NE on January 18, 2021 at 12:25 p.m.  Officers arrested Clayton Allen Bushaw, age 26 of Oelwein on a charge of Domestic Abuse Assault-Serious Misdemeanor.

 

On January 18, 2021 at 10:00 p.m., Oelwein Officers arrested Zachary Neal Moser, age 31 of Waverly on a Bremer County Sheriff's warrant for Domestic Assault and Violation of a No Contact Order.  Moser was located and arrested in the 2600 block of South Frederick following a disturbance report.
