On November 30, 2020 at 5:37 A.M., Oelwein Police arrested Victor Leonel Bustillos Jr, 20 of Waterloo.  Biccor was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication following an incident in the 100 block 1^st AV SE.

On November 29, 2020 at 3:19 P.M., Oelwein Officers were called to the 10 block 6^th ST NW for a report of Hit and Run Accident.  A white Impala driven by Brittany Bartels was struck by an unknown vehicle.  This incident remains under investigation

The Oelwein Police Department has partnered with the Oelwein High School to keep student athletes healthy. The Oelwein Police Department has donated Husky water bottles that will be provided to each winter sport athlete this season. The purpose of the individual water bottles is to allow each student athlete to have a safe way to hydrate during practices and games, while at the same time attempting to prevent the spread of Covid-19. "During these unusual times, we have to work together to try to maintain a sense of normalcy while preventing the spread of the virus" stated Chief Jeremy Logan.

On November 8, 2020 at 2:53 P.M., Oelwein Officers were called to the 700 block 2^nd ST NW for a report of Theft.  This incident remains under investigation

On November 28, 2020 at 1:30 a.m., Oelwein Officers performed a traffic stop in the 300 block of 5th Avenue SW in Oelwein.  Officers cited Kimberli Jean Giesbrecht, age 47 of Oelwein for Speed and Driving While License Suspended.

On November 25, 2020 at 8:45 P.M., Oelwein Officers were called to the 100 block 6^th AV SE for a report of Theft.  This incident remains under investigation

On November 24, 2020 at 8:33 P.M., Oelwein Officers were called to the 10 block 1^st St SE for a report of Theft.  This incident remains under investigation

 On November 24, 2020 at 9:09 P.M., Oelwein Police arrested Timothy Kennedy Weber, 37, of Spirit Lake IA  Weber was arrested and charged with Enhanced Public Intoxication-Serious Misdemeanor, Interference with Official Acts- Simple Misdemeanor, 2 counts of Trespass- Simple Misdemeanor and Harassment of a Public Official- Simple Misdemeanor.

On November 21, 2020 at 12:11 A.M., Oelwein Police arrested Isiah Dean Heidt, 23, of Oelwein.  Heidt was arrested and charged with Interference with Official Acts – Simple Misdemeanor and Public Intoxication-Simple Misdemeanor.  This arrest followed an incident in the 500 block of Rock Island Road.

On November 20, 2020 at 4:50 P.M., Oelwein Officers were called to the 100 block 1^st AV SE for a report of Theft.  This incident remains under investigation

On November 17, 2020 at 2:50 a.m., Oelwein Officers responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of 1st Avenue NE.  Officers arrested Jason Levi Hallock, age 46 of Westgate on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, 3rd Offense and 3rd Degree Burglary, both Class D Felonies.  Hallock was also charged with Interference with Official Acts, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Public Intoxication, all three simple misdemeanors.
