On February 28, 2019 at 11:21 p.m., Oelwein Officers performed a traffic stop at the intersection of 1st AV and East Charles in Oelwein. Officers cited the driver of the vehicle, Tayten James Printz, age 19 of Marion, on charges of Driving While License Suspended- Simple Misdemeanor and Failure to Provide Liability Insurance.
February 27,2019
On February 27, 2019 at 11:15 p.m., Oelwein Officers arrested Justin Kyle Greene. age 25 of Garnavillo, Iowa for West Union Residential Facility warrant for Escape from Probation. Greene's original charges included Prohibited Acts, Possession of Marijuana, and 2 Counts of Forgery.

On February 20, 2019 at 3:33 p.m., Oelwein Police arrested Quinton Anathony Edwards, 32, of Martelle. Edwards was arrested and charged with Domestic Abuse Assault- Serious Misdemeanor following an incident in the 600 block of South Frederick.

On February 19, 2019 at 1:00 a.m., Oelwein Officers performed a traffic stop in the 10 block of 1st Street SE. Officers cited William James Newton, age 25 of Oelwein, for Driving While License Suspended.
February 14. 2019
On February 14, 2019 at 11:57 Oelwein Police arrested Christopher Lee Becker, 36, of Oelwein. Becker was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication-Simple Misdemeanor and Interference with Official Acts- Simple Misdemeanor. This arrest occurred after an incident in the 10 block 1st AV SE.

On February 13, 2019 at 3:15 p.m. Oelwein Officers were called to the 300 block of 1st Avenue NE for a reported disturbance. Officers arrested Jason Lee Allen Nuehring, age 33 of Oelwein on charges of Domestic Assault, Simple Misdemeanor and Criminal Mischief 4th Degree, Serious Misdemeanor.

On February 6, 2019 at 6:27 p.m., Oelwein Officers performed a traffic stop in the 500 block of HWY 150 North in Oelwein. Officers cited the driver of the vehicle, Maylene Marie Postel, age 36 of Oelwein, on charges of Driving While License Suspended- Simple Misdemeanor

On February 4, 2019 at 1:10 a.m., Oelwein Officers performed a traffic stop in the 100 block of 1st St SE in Oelwien. Officers arrested the driver of the vehicle, Nicholas Charles Olliney, age 32 of Waucoma, on charges of Driving While License Suspended and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, both Simple Misdemeanors.
