On October 5, 2018 at 12:05 a.m., Oelwein Officers performed a traffic stop in the 10 block of 5th Avenue SW.  Officers cited and released Brandon David Latham, age 22 of Oelwein, for Driving While License Suspended.

At 6:53 p.m. on October 3rd, 2018 Oelwein Officers were called to the 300 block of 5^th AV SE for an incident.  Officers arrested Alexis Jorden Louise Heidt, age 19 of Oelwein, on a charge of Disorderly Conduct, a Simple Misdemeanor.

 On October 3^nd, 2018 at 7:39 p.m., Officers took a report of a Burglary in the 1100 block of 1st AV SE.  A report was taken and this incident remains under investigation.

On October 2^nd, 2018 at 11:29 a.m., Officers took a report of a Theft in the 10 block of 1st AV SE.  A report was taken and this incident remains under investigation.

On October 2^nd, 2018 at 6:22 p.m., Officers took a report of a Theft in the 100 block of 5^th AV NE.  A report was taken and this incident remains under investigation.

On October 1, 2018 at 4:40 a.m., Oelwein Officers performed a traffic stop in the 10 block of 3rd Av NE.  Officers arrested Frank Everett Boleyn, age 64 of Oelwein on charges of Driving While License Revoked and Failure to Refile SR22 Insurance, both Serious Misdemeanors.

At 3:00 p.m. on September 29, 2018 Oelwein Officers were called to the 1300 block of South Frederick for a reported shoplifter.  Officers arrested Alexis Anne Buhr, age 47 of Oelwein, on a charge of Theft 4th Degree, a Serious Misdemeanor.

On September 29, 2018 at 10:05 p.m., Oelwein Officers performed a traffic stop in the 10 block of 3rd Street NE.  Officers arrested Adam Dean Nichols, age 28 of Oelwein on charges of Failure to refile SR22 Insurance and Driving While License Revoked, both Serious Misdemeanors.

On September 28^th, 2018 at 1:51 a.m., Officers took a report of a Theft in the 100 block of 1st AV SE.  A report was taken and this incident remains under investigation.

On September 28^th, 2018 at 6:45 p.m., Officers took a report of a Theft in the 100 block of South Frederick.  A report was taken and this incident remains under investigation.

On September 27^th, 2018 at 1:51 p.m., Officers took a report of a Theft in the 800 block of 5^th ST SE.  A report was taken and this incident remains under investigation.

On September 28, 2018 at 6:42 p.m., Oelwein Officers arrested Dennis Ray Slifer, age 47 of Oelwein on a Fayette County warrant on an original charge of Violation of a NO Contact Order.  Slifer was arrested in the 800 block of North Frederick in Oelwein.

On September 25, 2018 at 12:55, Oelwein Officers arrested Desarae Lafaye Harris, age 21 of Oelwein on Black Hawk County warrant charges of Burglary 3rd Degree, Harassment, Assault Causing Injury, Criminal Mischief, and Interference with Official Acts.  Harris was arrested in the 1300 block of West Charles in Oelwein.

Oelwein Officers performed a traffic stop in the 900 block of South Frederick at 11:21 p.m., on September 23, 2018.  Officers cited and released Brenden Byron Larson, age 21 of Oelwein on a charge of Driving While Barred. 

On September 22, 2018 at 3:27 p.m., Oelwein Officers were called to a disturbance in the 10 block of 4^th ST NW.  Officers arrested Raymond Anthony Escobar, age 34, of Oelwein on a charge of Domestic Abuse Assault, a Serious Misdemeanor.
