On July 25^th 2018 at 11:04 p.m., Officers took a report of a Theft in the 800 block of 1ST AV SW.  A report was taken and this incident remains under investigation.

On July 24, 2018 at 1:25 p.m., Oelwein Police arrested Emma Lee Imhoff, 20, of Oelwein.  Imhoff was arrested on a Dubuque County Warrant for Probation Violation on an original charge of Burglary 3rd Degree.  This arrest came after an officer’s interaction with the subject in the 100 block 5^th AV NE.

 On July 24^th 2018 at 4:04 p.m., Officers took a report of a Theft in the 100 block of 5^th AV NE.  A report was taken and this incident remains under investigation.

 On July 24, 2018 at 9:05 p.m., Oelwein Police arrested Cody Charles Aiello, 22, of Oelwein.  Aiello was arrested on a Linn County Warrant for Failure to appear for Adjudication of guilt on an original charge of false use of a credit card.  This arrest came after an officer’s interaction with the subject in the 500 block of Rock Island Road.

On July 23, 2018 at 12:20 p.m. Oelwein Officers responded to reported suspicious activity in the 10 block of North Frederick.  Officers arrested Brett Michael Kratz, age 26 of Oelwein, on 4 counts of Theft 3rd Degree, one count originating from a case of theft under investigation from July 15, 2018.  Each charge is an Aggravated Misdemeanor.

On July 23, 2018 at 10:20 p.m., Oelwein Officers cited Ryan John Gunningham, age 31 of Oelwein for allowing a dog to run at large in the 200 block of 3rd Av SE.

On July 20, 2018 at 10:04 p.m., Oelwein Police arrested David Lee Staake, 33, of Oelwein.  Staake was arrested on a Fayette County Warrant for Sexual Abuse 3^rd Degree. This arrest came after officer’s interaction with the subject in the 500 block of Rock Island Road.

On July 19, 2018 at 3:36 p.m., Oelwein Officers arrested Kathleen Jo Boies, age 66, of Oelwein on a charge of Theft- 5^th Degree, a Simple Misdemeanor. This arrest followed an incident in the 1300 block of South Frederick.

On July 19^th 2018 at 4:18 p.m., Officers took a report of a Theft in the 2100 block of South Frederick.  A report was taken and this incident remains under investigation.

On July 17, 2018 at 2:00 a.m., Oelwein Officers arrested Briana Lynn Dow, age 34 of Oelwein on a charge of Possession of Drug paraphernalia, a Simple Misdemeanor.  Dow was also arrested on a Buchanan County Sheriff's Office warrant with original charges of Possession of Controlled Substance-Meth, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Operating a non registered vehicle, Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Responsibility, and Operating a Motor Vehicle with an Expired License.

On July 15^th 2018 at 7:43 a.m., Officers took a report of a Theft in the 200 block of East Charles ST.  A report was taken and this incident remains under investigation.

On July 15^th at 10:38 p.m., Officers Cited Ryan John Gunningham, 31, of Oelwein with Dog at Large.  This citation followed in incident in the 200 block 2^nd AV SE

On July 14^th 2018 at 8:34 a.m., Officers took a report of a criminal Mischief in the 200 block of 1^st AV NE.  A report was taken and this incident remains under investigation.

On July 14^th 2018 at 11:28 a.m., Officers took a report of a criminal Mischief in the 700 block of 1^st ST NE.  A report was taken and this incident remains under investigation.

On July 13, 2018 at 12:40 a.m., Oelwein Officers responded to a report of a suspicious male in the alley behind the 10 block of North Frederick.  Officers arrested Russel Joseph Olander, age 43 of Oelwein on a charge of Enhanced Public Intoxication 3rd or Subsequent Offense, and Aggravated Misdemeanor.

On July 11, 2018 at 7:11 a.m., Oelwein Police arrested Kenny Earnest Bishop, 45, of Oelwein.  Bishop was arrested and charged with Trespassing-Simple Misdemeanor.  This arrest followed an incident in the 300 block 4^th AV SE.
