February 07,2020

On February 07, 2020 at 6:12 p.m., Reid Michael Kimball, age 48, was arrested on 3 Fayette County warrants. Harassment 3rd Degree, Violation of no contact/protective order-contempt, and criminal mischief 4th degree. Kimball was arrested in the 200 block of N Frederick Ave.

February 5, 2020

On February 5, 2020 at 2:12 P.M., Oelwein Police arrested Joshua Conrad Avenson, 28, of Oelwein.  Avenson was arrest on a Fayette County Warrant on an Original charge of Driving While Barred. Avenson was also charged with Possessing Contraband- Class D Felony and Driving while Barred-Aggravated Misdemeanor.  This arrest followed a traffic stop in the 10 block 1st AV SE.

At 2:32 P.M., on February 5, 2019 Oelwein Officers were called to the 200 block of 6th AV SW for a report of a Criminal Mischief.  This incident remains under investigation

ON February 5, 2020 at 2:44 P.M., Oelwein Police arrested Krystle Lynn Schoultz, 30,  of Oelwein.  Schoultz was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief 4th Degree.  This arrest followed an incident in the 200 block 2nd AV NW.

On February 5, 2020 at 9:56 P.M., Oelwein Police arrested Anthony Andrew Ledesma, 33, of Oelwein.  Ledesma was arrest and charged with Driving while License Suspended.  This arrest followed a traffic stop in the 100 block 5th AV NE.

 

February 4, 2020

On February 4, 2020 at 11:00 A.M., Oelwein Police arrested Matt   hew Allen Prine, 23, of Oelwein.  Prine was arrested on 2 Clayton County Warrants on original charges of Theft 2nd Degree and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.  This arrest took place in after an officer’s interaction with the subject in the 300 block 6th ST SW

January 30, 2020

At 9:05 A.M., on January 30, 2019 Oelwein Officers were called to the 200 block of 5th AV SE for a report of a Burglary.  This incident remains under investigation

January 29,2020

On January 29th, 2020 at 9:03 p.m., Oelwein Police Department arrested Teresa Lynn Forbes, age 44, of Nashua on two Fayette County warrants for possession of controlled substance, marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.  Forbes presented herself to the Oelwein Police Department for these warrants.

January 28,2020

On January 28th, 2020 at 7:08 p.m., Oelwein Police Department arrested Krystle Lynn Schoultz, age 30 of Oelwein on a Fayette County warrant for possession of methamphetamine and Failure to Appear. Schoultz was arrested in the 200 block of 2nd Ave NW.

January 27,2020

On January 27th, 2020 at 8:00 p.m., Oelwein police officers arrested Kyle Joseph Conner, age 24 of Oelwein on a Bremer County warrant for failure to appear for a plea change hearing for possession of controlled substance. Conner was arrested in the 1000 block of 1st Ave SW.

 

On January 27th, 2020 at 11:30 p.m., Oelwein police officers arrested Flora Mae Epley, age 39 of Oelwein on a Bremer County warrant for two counts of identity theft. Epley was arrested at the residence by the intersection of 1st St SE and 7th Ave SE.

 

 

January 26, 2020

On January 26, 2020   at 12:39 Oelwein Police arrested Melissa Sue Newman, 34 of Winthrop.  Newman was arrested on a Fayette County Failure to Appear Warrant on an original charge of Driving while License Suspended.  This arrest occurred after the suspect turned herself in at the Oelwein Police Department.

On January 26 at 1:25 p.m., Oelwein Police arrested Brent Albert Berry, 33 of Oelwein.  Berry was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication-Simple Misdemeanor.  This arrest followed an incident in the 500 block of Hwy 150 S.

January 25, 2020

On January 25, 2020 at 11:47 P.M., Oelwein police arrested Sean Michael Carey, 42, of Oelwein.  Carey was arrested and charged with Domestic.  This arrest followed an incident in the 10 block 6th ST NW

January 22, 2020

On January 22, 2019 at 1:22 A.M., Oelwein Officers cited Makayla Rose Cox, age Fayette of Fayette for Driving while License Suspended.  This citation resulted from a traffic stop in the 900-blk E Charles.

 

At 4:59 P.M., on January 22, 2019 Oelwein Officers were called to the 10 block of 5th ST NW for a report of a Theft.  This incident remains under investigation
