At 1:57 a.m. on June 22, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Melissa Anne Poage, 33, of West Union. Poage was arrested in the 10 block of West Charles on a Chickasaw County warrant for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - simple misdemeanor.
At 1:57 a.m. on June 22, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Satasha Marie Schuman, 30, of Waucoma. Schuman was arrested in the 10 block of West Charles on a Fayette County warrant for Forgery (5 counts), Burglary 3rd Degree (3 counts), and Theft 2nd Degree.
At 7:30 p.m. on June 22nd, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Jade Marie Miller, 22, of Oelwein. Miller was arrested in the 200 block of 5th St NW on a Fayette County warrant for Failure to Appear on an original charge of Obstructing Court Order.
At 6:34 a.m. on June 21st, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Regina Mae Latham, 46, of Oelwein. Latham was arrested on a charge of Driving While License Revoked - serious misdemeanor. This arrest was made following a traffic stop in the 10 block of 2nd Ave SE in Oelwein.
At 5:45 p.m. on June 21st, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Amanda Marie Steggall, 41, of Oelwein. Steggall was arrested in the 500 block of 3rd Ave SE on a Fayette County warrant for an original charge of Violation of No Contact Order (Domestic) - simple misdemeanor.
At 6:45 p.m. on June 20th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Jaron Michael Kirkbride, 31, of Oelwein. Kirkbride was arrested on charges of Driving While License Suspended, and Possession of Controlled Substance, Marijuana (2nd offense) - serious misdemeanor. This arrest was made following a traffic stop in the 900 block of West Charles.
At 12:52 p.m. on June 18th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Nicole Lynn Goldsmith, 39, of Fayette. Goldsmith was arrested in the 2300 block of South Frederick Ave on a Fayette County warrant for an original charge of Violation of No Contact Order.
At 2:43 p.m. on June 18th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Emanuel Curtis Receveur III, 49, of Oelwein. Receveur was arrested on a charge of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor - Felony.
On June 17, 2022 at approximately 3:30 p.m. Oelwein Police were called to 28 3rd St. NW for a report of someone discharging a firearm and killing a canine. Officers arrived, made the scene safe and investigated the incident. It was discovered that a firearm was in fact discharged. The legal occupant of the property discharged one round from a shotgun during the incident, fatally striking a canine that did not belong on the property and which was reportedly actively being aggressive towards another person on the property.
This incident remains under investigation.
At 12:25 a.m. on June 14th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Chelsey Ann Moore, 23, of Oelwein. Moore was cited and released on a charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - simple misdemeanor. This arrest was made following a traffic stop in the 10 block of 1st St SW.
At 1:50 p.m. on June 14th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Jordan Marcus William Young, 18, of Oelwein. Young was arrested on a charge of Criminal Mischief, 4th degree - serious misdemeanor. This arrest was made following a report of windows broken on a residence in the 10 block of 7th St SW.
At 7:52 p.m. on June 9th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Seth Lee Rohrick, 25, of Oelwein. Rohrick was arrested in the 700 block of 2nd St NW on a Buchanan County warrant for Failure to Appear on an original charge of Domestic Abuse Assault.
At 10:55 p.m. on June 10th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Austin James Rinella, 29, of Oelwein. Rinella was arrested in the 100 block of 5th St NW on a Fayette County warrant for Failure to Appear on an original charge of Driving While License Suspended.
At 11:29 a.m. on June 12th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Flora Mae Epley, 42, of Oelwein. Epley was arrested in the 200 block of 1st Ave SE on charges of Theft, 3rd degree - aggravated misdemeanor, and Burglary, 3rd degree - aggravated misdemeanor.
At 3:39 p.m. on June 12th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Jeffrey John Becker, 42, of Oelwein. Becker was arrested in the 2300 block of South Frederick on a charge of Violation of No Contact/Protective Order - simple misdemeanor. This arrest was made after a citizens report of the violation.
At 4:23 p.m. on June 8th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Kimberly Marie Schoultz, 53, of Oelwein. Schoultz was arrested in the 100 block of South Frederick Ave on a Fayette County warrant for an original charge of Domestic Abuse Assault.
At 7:43 p.m. on June, 7th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Allyssa Michele Garrison, 27, of Oelwein. Garrison was arrested in the 10 block of South Frederick on 3 Fayette County warrants for Probation Violations.
At 10:56 a.m. on June 6th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Richard Lee Murphy, 35, of West Union. Murphy was arrested in the 800 block of 1st St NE on a Fayette County warrant for an original charge of Violation of Parole.
At 2:43 p.m. on June 6th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Brian Wendell Bass, 30, of Oelwein. Bass was cited and released on a Driving While License Suspended. This arrest was made following a traffic stop in the 200 block of 2nd St NE.
At 11:23 p.m. on June 6th, 2022, Oelwein Police responded to a report of a disturbance in the area of 7th St and South Frederick Ave. Christopher Allan Manning, 34, and Robert James Mason-Montgomery, 18, both of Oelwein, were both arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct (Fighting) - simple misdemeanor.
