Also, at 2:20 a.m., Oelwein Police arrested Emily Kay Wise 30 of West Bend IA. Wise was arrested and charged with Violation of a No Contact Order-Contempt of Court – Simple Misdemeanor. These arrests took place after a disturbance in the 900 block 7th AV NE

On July 15, 2019 at 3:25 p.m., Oelwein Officers arrested Jeramy John Warren, 42 year old from Oelwein, on a Fayette County Sheriff's warrant for Failure to Appear for a Probation Revocation Hearing. Warren was arrested in the 10 block of 3rd Avenue NE.
Oelwein Officers performed a traffic stop in the 10 block of East Charles on July 15, 2019 at 4:35 p.m. Officers cited Melissa Sue Newman, age 34 of Oelwein for Driving While License Suspended.
On July 16, 2019 at 10:35 a.m., Oelwein Officers arrested Kurtis Wayne Shasteen, 35 years old of Oelwein, on a Fayette County Sheriff's warrant for Theft 5th Degree. This arrest was affected after Officers encountered Shasteen in the 500 block of West Charles.
