At 1:47 p.m. on January 3rd, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Kody Allen Letts, 30, of Oelwein. Letts was arrested in the 400 block of East Charles on a Fayette County warrant for Violation of Probation.

At 3:41 a.m. on January 1st, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Lorena Irene Pineda, 29, of Oelwein. Pineda was arrested on a charge of Domestic Abuse Assault - simple misdemeanor. This arrest was made following a report of a disturbance in the 10 block of 5th St NW in Oelwein. 

At 6:12 a.m. on December 31st, 2021, Oelwein Police arrested Camille Mae Doty, 22, of Hawkeye. Doty was arrested in the 500 block of Rock Island Road in Oelwein on a Fayette County warrant for Probation Violation.

At 1:54 p.m. on December 31st, 2021, Oelwein Police arrested Thomas Daniel Wilds, 27, of Oelwein. Wilds was arrested in the 400 block of 5th Ave SW in Oelwein for a Violation of No Contact Order - simple misdemeanor. 

At 8:29 p.m. on December 28th, 2021, Oelwein Police arrested Jordan Scott Messler, 19, of Hawkeye. Messler was cited and released on a charge of Driving While License Suspended. This arrest was made after a report of a traffic accident in the 10 block of 3rd Ave SE in Oelwein. 

At 1:49 a.m. on December 25th, 2021, Oelwein Police arrested William Steve Lee III, 50, of Waterloo. Lee was arrested on a charge of OWI - 1st Offense. This arrest was made following a traffic stop in the 800 block of North Frederick Ave,

At 2:32 a.m. on December 25th, 2021, Oelwein Police arrested Kyle Richard Alan Geary, 35, of Oelwein. Geary was arrested on charges of Assault Causing Serious Injury - Felony, Disorderly Conduct (Fighting) - simple misdemeanor, and Public Intoxication - simple misdemeanor. This arrest was made following a report of a disturbance in the 10 block of 1st St SW. 

At 11:13 p.m. on December 22nd, 2021, Oelwein Police arrested Jammie Allen Aldrich, 35, of Oelwein. Aldrich was arrested in the 400 block of 13th Ave NW on Fayette County warrants for original charges of Driving While License Suspended and Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.

At 7:51 p.m. on December 21st, 2021, Oelwein Police arrested Mellony Jean Harris, 33, of Oelwein. Harris was arrested in the 800 block of South Frederick Ave on a Fayette County warrant for an original charge of Possession of Controlled Substance - Methamphetamine - 1st Offense.

At 3:41 p.m. on December 13th, 2021, Oelwein Police arrested Kurtis Wayne Shasteen, 38, of Oelwein. Shasteen was arrested in the 100 block of 8th Ave NW in Oelwein on a Fayette County warrant for an original charge of 5 counts of unauthorized use of credit card.

At 1:56 p.m. on December 9th, 2021, Oelwein Police arrested Jesse Clarence Guest, 32, of Oelwein. Guest was arrested in the 1300 block of South Frederick Ave on a Fayette Co warrant for an original charge of Driving While License Denied or Revoked. 

On December 5th, 2021, the Oelwein Police Department received a report of a missing adult. The missing person’s report indicated that the 32-year-old female was a dependent adult and that no one had seen or been able to reach this female for nearly 24 hours. Officers met with a number of individuals in reference to this report. On December 8th, 2021, the female was located safely and without incident. The Oelwein Police Department was assisted by the Waterloo Police Department, the Independence Police Department, and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigations.

At 2:15 p.m. on December 8th, 2021, Oelwein Police arrested Thomas Daniel Wilds, 27, of Oelwein. Wilds was arrested in the 700 block of South Frederick Ave on a Fayette County warrant for an original charge of Domestic Abuse Assault - serious misdemeanor.
