At 4:51 p.m. on April 24th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Matthew Wade Stacey, 28, of Oelwein. Stacey was arrested on Fayette County warrants for Violation of Probation - felony, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - simple misdemeanor, Possession of Controlled Substance, Marijuana and Methamphetamine - serious misdemeanor, and Domestic Abuse Assault Impeding Flow of Air / Blood. In addition to the warrants Stacey was also charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Offense - aggravated misdemeanor, Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd or Subsequent Offense - aggravated misdemeanor, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - simple misdemeanor, and Providing False Identification Information - simple misdemeanor. Stacey was also cited for two counts of Bicyclist Failing to Obey Stop Sign. 

At 10:23 p.m. on April 21st, 2022, Oelwein Police conducted a search at 400 13th Ave NW apartment 35. Shyla Delaney Etgeton, 25, was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance, 1st Offense - serious misdemeanor, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - simple misdemeanor. This search warrant was done in conjunction with, and the assistance of, the Independence Police Department.

At 10:31 p.m. on April 21st, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Darrick Shawn Eubanks II, 27, of Oelwein. Eubanks was arrested in the 400 block of 13th Ave NW on Fayette County warrants for original charges of Domestic Abuse Assault - felony, Willful Injury - felony, and Domestic Abuse Assault - serious misdemeanor.

At 1:17 p.m. on April 18th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Miranda Rose Baillargeon, 37, of Oelwein. Baillargeon was arrested on charges of Burglary 3rd Degree - felony, Theft 4th Degree - serious misdemeanor, Possession of Controlled Substance - felony, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - simple misdemeanor. This arrest was made following a report of a theft in the 600 block of South Frederick Ave.

On April 16, 2022 at 6:45 p.m., Oelwein Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of 5th Avenue SE.  Officers arrested Judas David Leandro, age 37 of Oelwein on charges of Domestic Assault Causing Bodily Injury and Possession of a Controlled Substance, both Serious Misdemeanors.

Oelwein Police investigated a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the 100 block of 1st Ave SW at 9:00 p.m. on March 26th, 2022. A Ford pickup driven by Eric Allen Pryor collided with a parked semi truck owned by Hawkeye Haulers. After an investigation, Pryor was cited for Striking an Unattended Vehicle.

At 2:21 p.m. on April 13th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Brian Lynn Rhines, 40, of Oelwein. Rhines was cited and released on a charge of Driving While License Suspended after a traffic stop in the 600 block of South Frederick Ave.

At 2:45 a.m. on April 10th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Graig Thomas Bemiss, 42, of Oelwein. Bemiss was arrested on charges of OWI (3rd) - felony, Driving While License Revoked - serious misdemeanor, and Operate without Interlock Device - simple misdemeanor. This arrest was made following a traffic stop in the 10 block of 2nd St NW in Oelwein. 

At 2:40 a.m. on April 9th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Edgar Joel Torres Santiago, 26, of Oelwein. Torres Santiago was arrested on charges of OWI (1st) - serious misdemeanor, and No Valid Drivers License. This arrest was made following a traffic stop in the 10 block of 2nd Ave NW in Oelwein.

At 9:23 a.m. on April 8th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Kyle Thomas Moon, 44, of Oelwein. Moon was arrested on charges of OWI (2nd offense) - aggravated misdemeanor, Reckless Driving, Passing on a Grade or Hill, and 2 counts of Speeding. This arrest was made following a report of a minor motor vehicle accident in the 10 block of 4th St SW in Oelwein.

At 5:27 p.m. on April 7th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Jordan Marcus William Young, 18, of Oelwein. Young was arrested on a charge of Domestic Abuse Assault - simple misdemeanor. This arrest was made after a report of a disturbance in the 10 block of 6th St SW. 

At 17:49 p.m. on April 4th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Joshua James Levendusky, 39, of Oelwein. Levendusky was arrested on charges of Driving While License Revoked - serious misdemeanor, Failure to File SR22 Insurance, Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd - felony, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - simple misdemeanor, Reckless Driving, Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability, and Failure to Respond to Steady Red Light. This arrest was made following a traffic stop in the 100 block of 3rd St NW.
