On 4/2/2008 in a joint effort the Fayette County Sheriff's Office and the Oelwein Police Department conduct a search of two Oelwein residence's which results in three individuals taken into custody.
Wayne Jeffrey Carlisle, age 31 of Oelwein was charged with Failure to comply to the sex offender registry second offence, a class "D" Felony, possession of a controlled substance (Marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while suspended 28 counts. He was also detained for suspicion of driving while under the influence of a drug.
Charlotte Marie Carlisle, age 48 of Oelwein was charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jeanne Marie Reed, age 24 was charged with possession of a controlled substance (Marijuana) and child endangerment.
All three subjects were taken to the Fayette County Jail and are currently awaiting court.
Reed's two children were turned over to the Department of Human Services were they will be placed into care until further notice. Both agencies were also assisted by the Department of Correctional Services Probation and Parole office out of Oelwein due to one of the subjects being on probation at the time of arrest.
Upon further investigation, David Dee Bradley, 51, Oelwein, was later arrested and had been charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Bradley is being held pending a court appearance.
This incident remains under investigation and more charges and arrests could be made.
